Resort 20 Seat Speed Boat

The resort's vessel Aftershock, makes a return trip daily to the island, the one-way Adult Fare is $149 NZD and for a child 5-12 years its $73 NZD, and children under 4 yrs are free. It is also available for private charter to meet specific flight arrivals or departures, with a minimum rate of $1500 NZD one way for up to 20 passengers.

For the daily service, the boat leaves Vuda Marina (a few miles from the Airport in Nadi) at 8 am and then departs the island to make the return trip back to the mainland from at approx 11 am arriving by 12.30 pm. *Please see below notes.

The journeys take just over one and 1 1/2 hours each way and are scheduled to meet many of the flights serving Nadi Airport, allowing the maximum time possible on the island. Air-conditioned minibus transport from the airport or from local hotels is included in the transfer cost.

For a charter Aftershock or Magic our other vessel can leave as required to meet specific flight times, subject to arriving to the resort or mainland between 9-3pm.

*As we endeavor to accommodate as many customers as possible by occasionally changing our boat departure times to allow for flight delays for arriving aircraft, the departure time is subject to change slightly between 7.30 am and 8.30 am. Departure times from the island to the mainland may vary from 10.30 am to 11 am depending on the needs of the in house guests on the day to account for early flight departures, the vessel will leave by 11 am if there are 3 pm flight departures, guests with flights departing Fiji before 3 pm require a specific private charter, or "day before" departure. At other times scheduled maintenance or sea conditions could delay the scheduled departure time.

Yasawa Flyer - South Sea Cruises

One option for reaching our little island is the “Big White Boat”. Operated by Awesome Adventures this catamaran ferry departs Denarau Marina at 8.45am.

You can book these ferry transfers on our booking page when you make your room booking or our staff can help you arrange these transfers.

Complimentary bus service for Awesome Adventures leaves the Airport at 6.50am for Port Denarau. There is also complimentary transfers from all hotels within the Nadi area operated by Awesome Adventures.

All you will need to do is to cross-check with the information desk, or at the reception of the Hotel, you are staying at for pick-up times. Once you arrive at Port Denarau, you will need to check in your luggage and have it tagged for Paradise Cove, then queue to collect your boat tickets from the counter.

If you prefer there is the option for a private transfer from your hotel or the airport for an additional cost. Please let us know which option you prefer at the time of your booking.

The vessel travels up past many islands to the top of the Yasawa chain, then returns that afternoon. It is a great way to see the islands and experience an island scenic tour at the same time!

Going north up the island chain, the boat stops at Paradise daily at approx.11.45 am then carries on up north to the top of the island chain (and our sister resort, The Blue Lagoon Beach Resort). .

Returning south the boat stops at Paradise at approx.3pm before returning to Denarau Marina at approximately 5.45pm each day.
